Had this been a Saturday or Sunday, there would be no problem because there is no set system that may pervent a person form getting on.

I use to have parents tell me to get off which stopped me from doing challenges. Also remember not everyone is in high school. I have class from 4-6 so is posting a challenge then a disadvantage to me yes, but I work around it. Also homework should come before these games. They are more important than orgs.

I agree with that Softball.
But to respond to Christian:
The PRINCIPLE is that you have 24 hours either way. I've forgotten to vote or play before because I've had homework, etc. HOWEVER, now that I'm a host, I work around it.
Trust me, I would know about parents. They tell me the same. PLUS, I have a 3 year old brother bugging me all the time, so things take longer for me!
What you don't understand is either way, you have 24 Hours. You can ask Kassie, on CRG for a mission in The Mole, she asked for an extension, I told her sorry. If i give an extension to you, i'd have to give one to everybody whenever they wanted!
And you see, you could do these when I'm asleep (just not quite as much as Wowi can, lol). I haven't seen you have ANY problems competing up to this point. You've won immunity after HOH, etc and guess what, it hasn't been a problem until you don't have time to compete on a certain day, which I've had happen to myself before...

Once again, I am not aruging the 24 Hour Rule, its the fact that EC people get and advantage of an extra chance to get on, and the WC are not credited for that. And NO ONE is reconginzing it.

Like i've said already. I post the results for challenges 24 hours after (which i know you agree with, but keep reading), which is usually AS SOON AS I GET HOME!
Today I was just late because my Grandmother is in the hospital, having just had back surgery...

The 24 hours means nothing.. We don't want, and /can't/, stay up till 1 am or whatever just to be able to have as much time to do the mission as the East Coasters have.

Ohhh I do have certain advantages and disadvantages....
For one I can do the challenge while you snug in bed asleep...
And I can miss the start, where if you get the challenge completed and handed in first, I lose because I am snug in bed asleep.....For those challenges that are time based.

Its not like it was a live competition. If it was live, it would be on the weekend for 1 and for 2 would be later becuze of West coasters...

Another way to look at it is that college students have an advantage over high school students and parents/adults have an advantage over all students. I am an easterner, but I can not get on right "after school" because I have a class from 2:30-3:45 2 days a week. However high school students have that time after school while college kids do not. I have class from 4-6 twice a week.

I deny the fact of an advantage because in 24 hour challenges, when you are on, whether right as it is posted or a few hours later, it doesn't matter, because it is getting finished one way or another...

First off, I am sorry to have yelled*online yelled* at people. I lost my cool, and I shouldnt have done that. From now own, all caps are stesssing a point or word, not yelling. What fires me up is that CJ IGNORES the topic I was talking about, BRINGS stuff up I was not talking about, and USES that has his attack on me. You did not respond to the question I aksed you over and over agian. I don't know what that means, but when in Debate when someone doesn't answer a question, it means they agree. Which is why I DID NOT combat all the stuff said about the 24 hours. I understand the rule. I know why it is in place. But once again, what made me angry was that CJ did NOT talk about why I was upset, and went off on his OWN tangent. Also, check my posts I have not made ANY personal attacks, while CJ has made at least one in the very beggining, about my lame excuses. CJ repeatedly brought up info THAT DID NOT CONCERN THE TOPIC, so therefore all of those things addressed are moot and invalid. That goes for most of what Softball said, except what she had to say about her college classes. Which may pertain, but DOES NOT effect this argument BECAUSE it is about the WHOLW West Coasters, not an individual. So therefore, that point's validity is reduced. THIS is why, I am upset. NOT because of a rule put in place, but the DENIAL of an question and an AGRUMENT THAT WAS USED AGAINST ME THAT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH WHAT I WAS ARGUING. As you can clearly see, I have won this debate BECAUSE my oppentent refuses to discuss the topic on hand, and uses other topics that do not relate to ATTACK me. Plus, I have a genetic mutation that makes me far superior than all other human beings, so I win.  |
