Targeted group: 3-6 years of age I think we might also need to look at the safety aspect of the product. potential hazard * Choking or aspiration of small parts * Strangulation * Cuts by sharp parts of the toy * Injury by projectiles * Drowning * Motor vehicle incidents involving toys * Lead Paint Source: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toy_safety

We might also consider the idea of making some 'pretend-play' toys. Kids at 3-6, loves to imitate adults. And is our product targeting girls/boys or both?

And if we decide on educational toys, we need to think of what our product is going to teach the children.

Great ideas you guys! I love the safety thing...you're like a statistical genius Jiggy!
I was thinking we should go for more of a toy that either a boy or girl can play with so that it could potential sell more rather than being gender specific. A toy for a 3-6 year old I think would also need to be in between simple and complex...nothing too boring...we want these kids occupied so the parents can relax for a little bit!!
Should we also make it so it can go both outside and inside to maximize playtime?

i love the idea of making it unisex and a universal playing idea. Now we need something that people would buy and would be apppealing to them as they saw it in a store. What u guys think of like size of the toy im thinking the bigger the better how bout u?

the toy can't be too big. We need to take the size of the children into consideration.

Nothing too big, I agree, but nothing too small. Unless you were thinking of like a giant playset type thing...with a ton of different attachments that are able to be played with on their own yet aren't too small for the choking hazard, etc.

Oh yea, we also need to think about whether the product is for playing in groups or just made for a kid.

I think the most appealing is going to be something they can play with inside and outside. Something that is so awesome all the other 3-6 year olds will be jealous. I really like the idea of something large that has the separate attachments, that can go both inside and outside. Like a play area but not a play area type of thing. I don't really know how else to explain it I'm okay with whatever is decided.

I don't know. To me, I feel the need that the toy is something which the kid can carry around. when I was 3-6 yr old, I used to bring toys when I go out. so it should be something in which the kids can grip in his little hand, and want to bring out.
I think its up to the PM to make the decision. I am happy in whichever choice he made.

my idea rite now is using sort of a remake of the furby's (chirstian said it would be eglible) to modern day. the size can vary and can be the babies (smaller) and acutal product. kids can carry it around and sort of be like parents to the furby. as an addition to that since no one really understood what the furby was saying maybe for the older age group buying it thye wcould get a trnsaltor and possibly a way to communicate to them oppose to them just having to be able to communicate just to u. also each one will be different in some way and able to log online and control and update ur furby from there what u guys think

I love the idea of the kids being parents to the furby. It like some soft of "pretend-play", Kids always love to imitate the adults close to them anyways.
