Yes there is going to be a 4th, but not till like 2010 or 2011. It will be a prequel with Jack as a kid. I think he will be the only same character except maybe his dad will be in it.

ughhh, they would probably dumb it down even more to make it a "kids movie"

I do not think they will make it a kids movie. I think it will be about after he left his family and was first the captain of the boat. I just looked online and it looks like Barbarossa will be in it too. They go together to New Orleans and then to The Fountain of Hope.
