Rigel’s Questions:
1.) We know that social gameplay was one of your biggest strengths over the course of the game. I'm wondering though, in your opinion, does it show more strength to get here with a social network to catch you, or to come this far essentially on your own?
It seems like you want me to compare Myself to Stuff, since Stuff’s gameplay was mainly solo, while mine depending on constant socializing and creating alliances. In my HONEST opinion, it shows more strength to get this far by playing a social game. Often times, such as (no offense) Raymond’s case, people get dragged to the end of the game simply because they are anti-social and haven’t done so much in a game when compared to other people. Stuff wasn’t as bad a case as Raymond though; she was a bit more social for sure. Stuff played a fantastic solo game, especially with her Hidden Immunity Idol and Immunity wins here and there. Except in my perspective it was harder to get here for me because being caught up in so many alliances tends to get most people in trouble. Those people with multiple alliances usually end up having to choose between two or more alliances, and ultimately piss off many people and result in being eliminated from the game. But in my case, it worked out for me perfectly as I picked and chose which alliances would be the best for me and help me get further in the game. That’s why I feel that a social game shows more strength than a solo game. While playing a solo game you simply need to depend on yourself winning challenges or being dragged further, while in a social game you need to depend on constant allies (some of which might be using you) and hope that you don’t get caught up in the madness of multiple allies (because that’s what makes people seem powerful and too strong). I hope that answers your question, Rigel.
2.) Also, hypothetically, if social aspects didn't affect the game, and you were eliminated only based on how you did in challenges, how do you think the game would have worked differently for you?
If each week of the game someone was eliminated based on SOLEY how they performed on challenges then I feel the Final Three would be totally different first of all. Throughtout the Jury phase of the game; Stuff, Me, and Rigel won the majority of the Immunity Challenges. But once Rigel was eliminated from the game, it was largely Stuff and I facing off against one another each week for Immunity. Sometimes she won, sometimes I won. That’s life. So back to the roots of the question, if people were eliminated based on how they did in challenges then I still feel that both Me and Stuff would have made it to the Final Three. The other member of the Final Three would have to be either Rigel, Masia, or Michael; since all three of you guys were great at challenges. I’m not trying to shine a spotlight on some of you guys; I’m just answering the question. And once again, I hope I answered your question and you heard what you wanted to hear. If you need to ask more questions, then please be my guest.
3.) Make a short statement about each member of the jury.
Elizabeth- This girl is one HARDCORE person!! I voted for her two weeks in a row and she managed to survive both times. Because of this, I basically gave up on voting for her and she was eventually randomly eliminated on another Tribe. Elizabeth is a really nice person as I witnessed through PM’s, and she was a good ally to me even though I did in fact vote for her twice (but she didn’t know). I apologize for voting for you twice since you did nothing wrong to me, and I hope to see you in future games.
Simplton- OMGAH my Simpy! Simplton is the person who introduced me not only to this game, but to SRGO as a whole. He was the only ally I had coming into the game and it was unfortunate that he was only on my Tribe for about one day VERY late on in the game. When Simplton was eliminated I was upset, but by that point in the game I already had other allies to depend on. Simplton and I were great allies not just because we were already friends, but because we each had a common goal of getting rid of the veteran/threats in the game. Simplton is a great guy whom I talk to all the time.
Vicdemort- I began to talk to Vicdemort very early on in the game, and I asked him to vote with Mookie and Myself each week. Vicdemort did this and we started to become closer, but as the game progressed he was sent to a different Tribe wherein I couldn’t help him out. He was voted out from the game unfortunately and I lost a great ally. I haven’t seen Vicdemort logged on in a little while and I hope he comes back so we can talk again.
Tayvi- We met during the later portion of the game, but nevertheless, became good friends. We talked online (AIM) for a while, and became close on their. Tayvi voted with Me and Mookie as well, except in this case Tayvi WAS on my Tribe when he was eliminated from the game. I was shocked over Tayvi’s elimination and I still don’t know how and who voted him out of the game. I still talk to Tayvi nowadays whenever I see him online, he’s a cool kid.
TLK- Well. She was on my Tribe only a few times during this game, and not for a long amount of time. I would communicate with TLK via PM’s, and we voted together each time she was on my Tribe. But in my mind, TLK was a huge threat and veteran on SRGO, and that’s why I banded together a group of allies to vote her out, and eventually Rigel and Michael too. TLK was a nice person though, kind hearted.
Rigel- You’re a good guy, Rigel. I know for a fact that you were a force to be reckoned with. Your Tribe would often win Immunity, and you yourself won Immunity two times in a row. Not only this, but you were the returning Outcast in the game, making you an even bigger threat. The first time in the game I had nothing to do with your elimination, that was all Simplton. But the second elimination I had something to do with. The same group that got rid of TLK, got rid of you for the same reason as her. You were a huge competitor in the game that needed to be stopped. I hope to play with you again in the future man.
Michael- And here’s the third person who falls under the “TLK/Rigel” category. Michael, you were one tough cookie, dude. During every challenge you were always one of the top scorers. I wanted you to make the Final Five with me since we had an alliance based on Tribal lines right before the merge occurred. But once Stuff won Immunity, you were the next biggest threat and we unfortunately had to send you packing. Sorry man, I wish you could have gone further with me.
Masia- MY GIRL!!! Masia I only met during the latter part of the game, but she instantly became one of my strongest and best allies. We each had a common goal of getting rid of all the threats and veterans in the game since the both of us were new to SRGO. And along with Mookie and Raymond, the four of us got rid of many many people together (mainly TLK/Rigel/Michael). Without Masia on my side we wouldn’t have had the numbers during each Tribal Council, and I also would have never met her as the friend she is today. Masia’s elimination was somewhat of a surprise to me, since I wasn’t sure if Stuff had the Hidden Idol or not. But she did, and because of that, by girl Masia was sent packing.
Mookie- Oh man. Haven’t I said enough about this great man already? Haha!!! Mookie and I contacted one another at the start of the game simply because our names were both those of Survivor TV contestants. We were both new to SRGO and decided to right then and there, create a Final Two pact. Mookie and I stuck to that deal and ALMOST made it together to the Final Three. He got fourth place due to the tie breaker challenge, and I was so so so so sad to see my best buddy get eliminated!! Mookie and I voted together EACH AND EVERY week, all the time, no matter what. Another great thing about that is that Mookie and Myself were for some reason, always on the same Tribe together. Whenever there was s Tribe swap, he somehow always ended up on a Tribe with me and we were both forced to reel in another ally to help us out. Without Mookie I don’t know if I would be here speaking to all you Jurors right now. Thank you for everything Mookie. I hope to remain in contact with you and play in future games with you.
