As you know, I do Deabte, and this is my next topic:
Resolved: That, on balance, the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 has improved academic achievement in the United States
if you live in the US, chime in! What do you think? I am looking for some POSITIVES, cause lord knows how many things are wrong with NCLB.
If you are a teacher or work in a school, please tell me what you think!

Well they made administrations look at the guidelines and some of them revised and changed the guidelines for each grade to make them more detailed so teachers know where each student should be in each grade.

While it has caused some forced improvements, all and all it has made our public schooling system even worse than it was initially.

I think the No Child Left Behind Act is a very good way to achieve academic achievement, but for me the NCLB act does not really do anything because it is still in the child's pov what he wants to do... it is like the self-fulfilling prophecy...
