Hello! Welcome to the first episode of SRGO IDOL 2! Today we have 14 lucky contestants, in groups of 2, here to perform. At the end of the show, you will be able to vote for your favorite duo!!! The duo with the least amount of votes will be sent home. So let's get started.
Up first are Ben Folds and John Mayer, signing Walk this Way!
Judge Casey: To be honest, I actually enjoyed it. I could really imagine both of you doing this song. I dont think it really fit the style all the way but I really liked it. I love Aerosmith and this song was a great choice. I think its gonna be a tough desicion.
Judge Christian: I like this song, and you guys did ok. This is a fun, upbeat song, and I think you guys stayed true to that. I could tell you were having fun. Your voices are a new twist to this song, but it is not amazing. It is good, but nothing with that WOW factor.
Onto our next duo, Beyonce and Avirl Lavgine singing When You Believe.
Judge Casey: Beyonce, Great job. It fits your style perfectly. Your a great singer. Avril, This song really doesnt fit you. I think that'll be the problem this week. You both have to work together to find a song that fits both your styles. If not, 1 or both of you could leave. Avril, It didnt fit your style. But your great. Try a punk song if your safe.
Judge Christian: You guys took a HUGE risk, doing a song Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston did. Beyonce, you covered Whitney's part AMAZINGLY. You truly have that power house sound. You did Miss Houston proud. Avirl, I am sorry, but this song over took you singing ablilities. I feel that it was almost to much for you, espically during the belting part. Also, I feel Beyonce totaly overpowered you, and you guys could have found a song that fit both your talents, porbably something more up beat. But good job nonetheless.
Next up is Yulia Volkova and Kevin Rudolf singing Beauty and the Beast.
Judge Casey: Thats a tough song. And it is classified as a duet even though theres little to be sung. Like Christian said, You have to live up to the real singer. Celine Dion is amazing! You guys were ok. But I think you guys are good this week.
Judge Christan: Talk about a risky song. It was originaly done by Miss Celiene Dion herself. And you will always be compared to the original artist. Yulia, you have a distinct voice, and I believe that it was not good as the original, but good in a different job. Kevin, however, I feel this soft of song does not match you vocal abilities quite right. Good job though.
The 4th duo in our line up is Axl Rose and Katherine McPhee signing Saw Red.
Judge Casey: Thats not a really tricky song for Axl but I have my doubt for you Mcphee. This is a little far from Over the Rainbow. But I think its a good choice.
Judge Christian: A nice, up beat song. i really enjoyed your performance. Axl, I think this song was a perfect choice for you, it fits really well. Katherine, I think you did really well. You sound nothing like Gwen Stefani, but you brought a new sound to this song, and it works really well. I must say, this was great. my favorite so far.
Next up is Tim and Alexandra Burke signing Fairy Tale of New York, Tim and Alexandra Burke.
Judge Casey: Well...Im not a big fan of the song but I think you guys did good. It balances both your styles so thats a plus. Thats really it. You guys didnt blow me away but you did good.
Judge Christian: Well, this is an interesting song. I feel you guys had fun with it. You both sound really good, then again the original was not that great. I feel you ocul have choosen a better song and sound just as good, if not better. All the same, you guys did a really good job.
Now up is Taylor Hicks and Kristy Lee Cook singing Every Other Weekend.
Judge Casey: Dawg, I liked it but I wasnt amazed. This sounds like a song Kristy could sing but Taylor, I dont think it fit your style.
Judge Christian: This is definetly a safe song for both of you. Country is more of your genre, and I think you did good on this.. However, I am worried about how you will do in future
weeks.
Last, but not least, Garth Brooks and Pink singing Pictures.
Judge Casey: I think you guys did great. But, Id have to say Garth, This was a little to safe for you. I know you wanted it to fit your style and Pink has a great range of styles. But I want to see you get out of your comfort zone with a song that you can do thats not in your style. Overall, Great job. Ill see you guys next week.
Judge Christian: I must say, I LOVE this song! And Pink, you KNOCKED IT OUT!!!!!!!! Your voice is so unique, and when you do a slow song, it s beatiful in its own way. And this song + your vocals= AMAZING. It works so wonderfully. Garth, you did good too. It is outside your comfort zone, and you did well. Both of you together, it works so well. What a way to end the night, and I will say THIS is my favorite performance of the night.
There you have it! That was our first show of the season! but before you vote, it is time to tell you guys one more twist.
Each week, the judges will pick their favorite performance. And that person or persons will be SAFE fom elimination. This week, the lucky duo with immunity is...
GARTH BROOKS AND PINK!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Now you may vote for up to 3 duos and DO NOT VOTE FOR GARTH AND PINK!!! IT DOES NOT MATTER IF YOU VOTE FOR THEM! DO NOT WASTE YOUR VOTES!
The polls will be open for 24 hours, so good luck!

BEN SINGS...
Now there's a backseat lover,
That's always undercover
And I talked till my daddy say,
Said "ya ain't seen nothin till your down on a muffin,
And there's sure to be a change in way"
Now there's a cheerleader, that's a real big pleaser
As far as I could reminice
And the best thing lovin' was you sister and your cousin
And it started with a little kiss, like this
JOHN SINGS...
She start swingin' with the boys in school
And her feet are flyin' up in the air
Singin hey diddle diddle with the titty in the middle,
And you swingin like you just don't care
So I took a big chance at the highschool dance
With a lady who was ready to play
It wasn't me she was foolin'
Cause she new what she was doin
When she told me how to walk this way, she told me to
BOTH SING...
Chorus:
Walk this way, talk this way (x2)
She told me to
Walk this way, talk this way (x2)
Just give me a kiss...like this
BEN SINGS...
School girl sleezy with a classy kinda sassy
Little skirt hangin way up her knee
There were three young ladies in a school gym locker
And I find there were lookin at D
I was a highschool loser never made it with a lady
Till the boys told me somethin' i miss
Then my next door neighbor
Had a daughter, had a favour
And I gave the girl a little kiss, like this
JOHN SINGS...
She start swingin' with the boys in the school,
With your feet flyin up in the air
Singin hey diddle diddle
With the kitty in the middle
I was swingin like i didn't care
So I took a big chance at the highschool dance
With the miss who was ready to play
Wasn't me she was foolin,

white text=Avril Lavigne
red text= Beyonce
blue text= together
Many nights we've prayed
With no proof anyone could hear
In our hearts a hope for a song
We barely understood
Now we are not afraid
Although we know there's much to fear
We were moving mountains long
Before we knew we could
There can be miracles, when you believe
Though hope is frail, it's hard to kill
Who knows what miracles you can achieve
When you believe, somehow you will
You will when you believe
In this time of fear
When prayers so often prove in vain
Hope seems like the summer birds
Too swiftly flown away
Yet now I'm standing here
My heart's so full I can't explain
Seeking faith and speaking words
I never thought I'd say
There can be miracles, when you believe
Though hope is frail, it's hard to kill
Who knows what miracles you can achieve
When you believe, somehow you will
You will when you believe
They don't know it's often when you ask
(Oh)
And it's easy to give in to your fears
(Oh...Ohhhh)
But when you're blinded by your pain
Can't see your way straight throught the rain
Boy,am i still resilient voice
Says love is the relief
(Ohhh)
There can be miracles
(Miracles)
When you believe
(Lord, when you believe)
Though hope is frail
(Though hope is frail)
It's hard to kill
(Hard to kill, Ohhh)
Who knows what miracles, you can achieve
When you believe, somehow you will(somehow, somehow, somehow)
somehow you will
You will when you believe
You will when you
You will when you believe
Just believe...in your heart
Just believe
You will when you believeeeeeeeeeee

Next up is Yulia Volkova and Kevin Rudolf singing Beauty and the Beast.
Red = Kevin
Yellow = Yulia
Green = Both at once
Tale as old as time
True as it can be
Barely even friends
Than somebody bends
Unexpectedly
Just a little change
Small, to say the least
Both a little scared
Neither one prepared
Beauty and the Beast
Ever just the same
Ever a surprise
Ever as before
Ever just as sure
As the sun will rise
Tale as old as time
Tune as old as song
Bittersweet and strange
Finding you can change
Learning you were wrong
Certain as the sun
Rising in the east
Tale as old as time
Song as old as rhyme
Beauty and the beast

The 4th duo in our line up is Axl Rose and Katherine McPhee signing Saw Red.
[Axl] Girls don't go crazy
[Mcphee] Woman, hold your man tight
Every day I love him just a little bit more
A little bit more, a little bit more
Everyday I love him just a little bit more
And he loves me the same
[Axl] Every day I love her just a little bit more
A little bit more, little bit more
Everyday I love her just a little bit more
And she loves me the same.
Baby if you wanna get on
[Mcphee] Oh baby if you wanna get off
[Axl] It makes no sense at all
[Both] I saw red
[Axl] I saw red, I saw red
One more sacred lover that
[Both] I shot dead
[Axl] Everyday I wake up just a little bit more
Feelin' like a dog out on the yard
Because that's just how we are
[Mcphee] Everyday I wonder if it's over
When I wake up realizin' that we hate
And break down the war
[Axl] You say it's black, but I can't believe you
[Mcphee] And if you say it's white, you say I'm tryin to deceive you
[Axl] And baby you're the winner of the high and the low
And I'd be waiting for you in the middle but I just lack control
Baby if you wanna get low
[Mcphee] Oh baby if you wanna get high
[Axl] It makes no sense at all
[Both] I saw red
[Axl] I saw red, I saw red
One more sacred lover that
[Both] I shot dead
[Axl] Girls, don't go crazy
Girls, don't go crazy
Oh girls, don't go crazy
When the men use you, oh
[Mcphee] Oh, woman hold your man tight
If it makes you feel right
Iit's your own life

Tim
Alexandra
Both
It was christmas eve babe
In the drunk tank
An old man said to me, wont see another one
And then he sang a song
The rare old mountain dew
I turned my face away
And dreamed about you
Got on a lucky one
Came in eighteen to one
Ive got a feeling
This years for me and you
So happy christmas
I love you baby
I can see a better time
When all our dreams come true
Theyve got cars big as bars
Theyve got rivers of gold
But the wind goes right through you
Its no place for the old
When you first took my hand
On a cold christmas eve
You promised me
Broadway was waiting for me
You were handsome
You were pretty
Queen of new york city
When the band finished playing
They howled out for more
Sinatra was swinging,
All the drunks they were singing
We kissed on a corner
Then danced through the night
The boys of the nypd choir
Were singing galway bay
And the bells were ringing out
For christmas day
Youre a bum
Youre a punk
Youre an old slut on junk
Lying there almost dead on a drip in that bed
You scumbag, you maggot
You cheap lousy faggot
Happy christmas your arse
I pray God its our last
The boys of the nypd choir
Were singing galway bay
And the bells were ringing out
For christmas day
I could have been someone
Well so could anyone
You took my dreams from me
When I first found you
I kept them with me babe
I put them with my own
Cant make it all alone
Ive built my dreams around you
The boys of the nypd choir
Were singing galway bay
And the bells were ringing out
For christmas day

Now up is Taylor Hicks and Kristy Lee Cook singing Every Other Weekend.
[Kristy:]
Every other Friday
It's toys and clothes and backpacks
Is everybody in,
Okay, let's go see dad
Same time in the same spot
Corner of the same old parking lot
Half the hugs and kisses there are always sad
We tradecouple words and looks and kids again
Every Other weekend
[Taylor:]
Every other weekend
Very few exceptions,
I pick up the love we made in both my arms
It's movies on the sofa, grilled cheese and cut the crust off
"That's not the way mom makes it, daddy," breaks my heart
I miss everything I use to have with her again,
Every other weekend
[Taylor:]
I cant tell her I love her
[Kristy:]
I can't tell him I love him
[Both:]
'Cause there's too many questions and years in the car
[Kristy:]
So I don't tell him I miss him
[Taylor:]
I don't tell her I need her
[Both:]
She's(He's) over me, that's where we are
[Taylor:]
So we're as close as we may ever be again
Every other weekend
[Kristy:]
Every other Saturday
First thing in the morning
I turn the TV on to make the quiet go away
I know why, but I don't know why
We ever let this happen
Fallin' for forever was a big mistake
There's so much not to do and all day not to do with him
Every other weekend
[Taylor:]
Every other Sunday
I empty out my backseat
While my children hug their mother
In the parking lot
We don't touch,
We don't talk much,
Maybe goodbye to each other
As she drives away with every piece of heart I got,
I reconvince myself we did the right thing,
Every other weekend
[Taylor:]
I can't tell her I love her
[Kristy:]
I can't tell him I love him
[Both:]
'Cause there's too many questions and years in the car
[Kristy:]
So I don't tell him I miss him
[Taylor:]
I don't tell her I need her
[Both:]
She's(He's) over me that's where we are
We're as close as we may ever be again
Every other weekend
[Taylor:]
Yeah, for fifteen minutes,
We're a family again
[Kristy:]
God, I wish that he was still with me again
[Taylor:]

[Garth Brooks]
Living my life in a slow hell
Different girl every night at the hotel
I ain't seen the sun shine in three damn days
Been fuelin' up on cocaine and whiskey
Wish I had a good girl to miss me
Lord I wonder if I'll ever change my ways
I put your picture away
Sat down and cried today
I can't look at you
While I'm lying next to her
I put your picture away
Sat down and cried today
I can't look at you while I'm lying next to her
[Pink]
I called you last night in the hotel
Everyone knows but they won't tell
But their half-hearted smiles tell me something just ain't right
I've been waitin on you for a long time
Fueling up on heartaches and cheap wine
I ain't heard from you in three damn nights
I put your picture away
I wonder where you've been
I can't look at you while I'm lying next to him
I put your picture away
I wonder where you've been
I can't look at you while I'm lying next to him
I saw you yesterday with an old friend
[Garth Brooks]
It was the same old same how have you been
[Both]
Since you've been gone my world's been dark and grey
[Garth Brooks]
You reminded me of brighter days
[Pink]
I hoped you were coming home to stay
I was headed to church
[Garth Brooks]
I was off to drink you away
[Both]
I thought about you for a long time
Can't seem to get you off my mind
I can't understand why we're living life this way
I found your picture today
I swear I'll change my ways
I just called to say I want you to come back home
I found your picture today
I swear I'll change my ways
I just called to say I want you
To come back home
I just called to say I love you
Come back home
Living my life in a slow hell
Different girl every night at the hotel
I ain't seen the sun shine in three damn days
Been fuelin' up on cocaine and whiskey
Wish I had a good girl to miss me
Lord I wonder if I'll ever change my ways
I put your picture away
Sat down and cried today
I can't look at you
While I'm lying next to her
I put your picture away
Sat down and cried today
I can't look at you while I'm lying next to her
[Pink]
I called you last night in the hotel
Everyone knows but they won't tell
But their half-hearted smiles tell me something just ain't right
I've been waitin on you for a long time
Fueling up on heartaches and cheap wine
I ain't heard from you in three damn nights
I put your picture away
I wonder where you've been
I can't look at you while I'm lying next to him
I put your picture away
I wonder where you've been
I can't look at you while I'm lying next to him
I saw you yesterday with an old friend
[Garth Brooks]
It was the same old same how have you been
[Both]
Since you've been gone my world's been dark and grey
[Garth Brooks]
You reminded me of brighter days
[Pink]
I hoped you were coming home to stay
I was headed to church
[Garth Brooks]
I was off to drink you away
[Both]
I thought about you for a long time
Can't seem to get you off my mind
I can't understand why we're living life this way

I just called to say I want you to come back home
I found your picture today
I swear I'll change my ways
I just called to say I want you
To come back home
I just called to say I love you
Come back home
