Welcome to tonight's episode of SRGO IDOL 2! Tonight, we have 9 performances, but only 8 options to vote for. Remember, Pink has Immunity.
Tonight, we are paying a tribute to the Princesses and Princes of Pop. The performers will be singing songs by N*Sync, Christna Aguilera, and Britney Spears. So with no further ado, let's start!
First up is Ms.Immunity this week, Pink, singing Keep Getting Better.
Judge Casey: Hmmm...I liked it but it didnt amaze me like your last few performances. I think this would be a week where you dont get immunity. Sorry. But good job.
Judge Christian: I think you picked the best- and porbably only- song for you. Like Casey said, this wasn't amazing or WOW like your last 3 perfromances, it was just really good. You keep your Immunity, see you next week!
Judge James: This is what happens when the bar is raised so high, so early. I came to this show tonight expecting an utterly fantastic performance and all I got from it was a 'good job'. You could have done a bit better, and it was good noetheless, but I hope next week that you return to your star performances.
Now up is Yulia singing Hit Me Baby One More Time.
Judge Casey: This was a good performance. Not your best but I think it'll keep you safe. I just need to see you come harder. Your voice is so unique. I thought a different song would be better though.
Judge Christian: I think this is probably the best song from Britney for you to choose. You have nailed song choice these last two weeks. Great job.
Judge James - Your song choice from last week was perfect but this week I thought you were right about with last weeks. A good song, especially from Britney, but it was a little too safe for my taste. I'm sure you'll be here next week though, so no worries!
Now up is Axl singing Bye Bye Bye.
Judge Casey: Wow...Im sorry but that was a bad song choice. When I say step out of your comfort zone, I mean step out...Not jump. That was way out for you. Sorry.
Judge Christian: Um, yeah. Casey is right. I know this is a hard hard hard week for you, and I give you credit for trying something hard, but wow. You better hope last weeks votes were enough. Sorry. It was really really bad.
Judge James: For once I DON'T agree with the other judges. I don't think it was that bad. It wasn't bad, but I think you at least somewhat pulled this one off. No WOW factor, but i think an ok choice. I don't think you'll go home this week, but you might be close to the bottom.
Now Alexandra will be singing I'm not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman.
Judge Casey: I thought it was clean. Christian was right saying this will be the toughest. Im not getting amazed but everyones giving good performances. It was nice but not great.
Judge Christian: Another ballad type song. I think you blew it out of the water! Great job! Keep it up at this rate, and you will get far. But dont try to stick to one type of song. This is 2 major ballads in a row, you don't wanna get reptitive.
Judge James: I enjoyed the performance. I think you are the best out of the 4 so far tonight. I personally have never heard of this song before, but whatever it sounds like, it can't be any better then that, especially if its a Spears song!
Now Kristy Lee Cook will sing From the Bottom of my Broken Heart.
Judge Christian: You did good, but it was boring. All we have really heard has been slow songs. if you want any chance at winning this, you gotta mix it up. Good, but boring.
Judge Casey: I have to go with Christian on this. It was good but you have to try something new each week. Maybe try a slow and fast song next week?
Judge James : I agree with Christian here that this was a good song, but a boring one. You gotta step up the speed of your songs. Nobody is going to like an artist that ONLY does slow songs, over another artist that mixes the performances. If you stay in the game and pick a fast song next week, you'll have me impressed.
Now Kevin will perform Pop.
Judge Casey: Thats a very popular song and I think you lived up to NSYNC. It was a good performance. Probably the best of the night in my opinion. Its probably just the theme but I think you pulled it off this week.
Judge Christian: You NAILED IT this week. This is the PERFECT song for you, and you looked like you were having tons of fun while doing it. One of the best performances fo the night, if not the best.
Judge James: ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! This is my favorite of the night by far. Not only do I enjoy the song by Nsync, you got this song going in ways that I couldn't have imagined. I think you doubted yourself coming into this week, but there was no reason too because you nailed it!
Now Katherine McPhee will sing I Turn to You.
Judge Casey: Good choice Mcphee. You also did a good job with the song choice. Overall, good job.
Judge Christian: It was good. You did a really good job, but it is really hard to live up to Christina on a slow song like this. And I think you did her justice
Judge James: I agree with the other 2 judges here. Its hard to pull off a song like this better then Christina, but i think you pulled it off. Great, but only average when you compare it to someone like Christina. I don't think you'll be leaving us this week.
John is up next, singing God Must of Spent a Little More Time on You.
Judge Casey: I think the closing tonight is getting better and better. As we get closer to the last performance everyones doing a better job. Hopefully it wont lead up to a big fail.
Judge Christian: You did really really really well, but I am not surprised. I think you nailed it, THIS is one of the best performances of the night.
Judge James: This isn't quite the top performance of the night, but it is ranked pretty high up there. you did a fabulous job. Keep it up!
Tim will be closing us tonight with Here We Go.
Judge Casey: Tim from Rise Against! You did a good job but...I dont think it was the best job. But you still did good. Hopefully it'll take you to the next round. Good finish to this round!
Judge Christian: I actually disagree with Casey. This was not a good job. I know this was a really hard week, but I feel you really could have found a better song for you. Im sure others will like it, but this just didn't do it for me. At all.
Judge James: I agree with Christian that you there are other songs that you could have done better on then this one. Just a tip, if your in the game next week, think of something a little less safe then this. There were others not in your comfort zone that could have served you better.
Well that's the end of the performances. Now on to Immunity...
