Opening Speeches

Conan and Lady Gaga can post their opening statements whenever they are ready. They need to be posted by Sunday at 8pm EST though.

After both have posted them then each of you jurors can create your own thread in this board with questions for the final two. When you are ready you can vote at any time.

This season for voting you are designing this photo with your vote and you can do whatever you want to it, put a quote on it, put photos on it, just the name of the person you are voting for etc.




Questioning will be officially over Tuesday at 7pm EST when the final two will post their closing statements, they will have until 5pm EST Wednesday. Then I will post the finale Wednesday at 9pm EST if I have all the votes, if not then Thursday at 9pm EST even if I don't.

I just want to tell the jury why I should be the winner of this game.

I definitely deserve to be the winner of this game, because I played the most amazing game I could have possibly played. When it was time to zig, I zigged and when it was time to zag, I zagged. Sure, I used lies and deception to make it here, but this is Survivor. Everyone signed up for lies and deception.

Also, I'd like to point out that I made it here without even receiving one vote without the immunity luxury that Conan obtained many times. That just goes to show that my manipulation always had someone else on everyone's mind. Nobody ever even pursued voting me out.

I'm happy about the way I played, and I'm proud of all the moves I made. If you were a casualty to my strategy, sorry, I got ya.

The only move I'm not proud of is trusting Britney at the final 9 to join our numbers to save Billy Joel. Once he was voted out 5-4, I realized that I would never allow my fate or the fate of my core 3 alliance to lie in anyone's hands other than mine, thus, all the moves to keep Lex, Ozzy, and I safe at all times until we had no choice in the matter.

So jury, when you ask your questions feel free to ask anything you want about any spectrum of this game or the way I played. I will be totally open about all the moves I made to make it to this point in the game, and why I made those moves.

I'd like to share my story in this game, and why I believe that I deserve to be the sole survivor.

For me, this was a game of perseverance. I don't believe that Lady Gaga or anyone else can say that they wanted to do well in this game as much as I did, and I have the record to prove it. I'm not going to insult Lady Gaga or say that she didn't play a good strategic game... her opening comments do a good job of summing up her accomplishments. But for me, the most important thing to keep in mind is that even though Lex and Lady Gaga felt that they were strategically dominating the game, I STILL got to the Finals, and in the end I had the power to decide who sat next to me. I beat their plan.

While I'll be the first to admit that lying and deception are clearly a part of the game, I'm proud of the fact that I stayed true to my closest allies even though I made it more difficult for myself at the end of the game. But even though I was in a seemingly bad situation, the fact remains that at the Final 5, Final 4 and Final 3 Tribal Councils, I could not be voted out, as much as others might have wanted to do it. Three times in a row, all essentially endurance challenges, I proved that I was a better competitor that anyone else. I'd like to think that I showed a different way to play the game: that you can stay true to your friends, give people your word and keep it, and STILL get to the end. That's why I think that I deserve your votes.
