Night 3
Pagong Tribe The Pagong Tribe enters camp as they arrived back from Tribal Council Sean: What a night..
Rudy (confessional):I cannot believe they got rid of Rich this early in the game. <shakes head> I just can't. Rich was probably one of the strongest people here in the tribe and they chose Sonja, who's basically a weak, arrogant, lazy, good for nothing bitch. <laughs> I'm sorry if that came out rude...you know what, scratch that, I'm not sorry at all because that's what she really is.
Sonja (confessional):I think people are underestimating as to how I can be an asset at the same time a liability. <laughs> I'm not the strongest, the fastest, the smartest and all that stuff but I came here to play the game. Its amazing how people would believe you if you would just smile at them every now and then.
[ Kelly starts to stroke the fire with a stick as everybody stands around it trying to keep themselves warm ]
Sonja: I'm just glad we have fire.
Susan: Ditto. I mean, I don't know what I would do if I would have to go through another night of torturous cold wind. I would have gone insane.
Sonja: <laughs> You and me both.
[ Rudy is shown trying to sleep ]
Sean: You okay back there Rudy?
Rudy: I'm alright man, just do your own thing and I would do mine.
Sean: <shrugs> I'm just trying to be concerned dude.
Sonja (confessional):<continued> And now that Richar's gone, the role of the biggest ass has to go to somebody and I think Rudy's filling that spot out right now. He knows he's in the outside and he knows that he's probably the next one to go so I think his strategy right now is to be just miserable as ever.
Rudy (confessional): At this point, I don't really care what happens to this tribe but by no means I'm throwing in the towel. I'm going to fight my way back and I'm even going to win this thing. Mark that down.
Day 04
Tagi Tribe [ Dirk, Gervase, Colleen and Jenna were out in the water lounging ]
Dirk: This is really nice. The water's really warm, the sand's really soft, I could stay in here all day.
Colleen: I'm just here because Joel's being an ass back on the beach. <laughs> Seriously, that man is going bonkers.
Gervase: He's just fre-aky! And not in a good way.
Dirk (confessional):Myself, Colleen, Gervase and Jenna have been hanging out a lot together and we really hit it off pretty well. Gervase is hilarious, Jenna's a bitch <laughs> but she's really fun and Colleen, you can never go wrong with her around that's for sure.
[ A shot of the four of them sitting by the shoreline ]
Colleen: <laughs> And there's this one time where I have to do this really crazy dare where I have to run around our dorm hall butt naked. <laughs>
Jenna: No way! You actually did it?
Colleen: I did. It was so crazy. I couldn't believe I did it the day after.
[ A shot of Joel and B.B looking from the shelter ]
Joel: Are they still out there?
B.B: Pretty much. I think they're planning to hang out there all day.
Joel: <shakes head> That's just downright lazy.
B.B (confessional): Right now, Dirk, Colleen, Gervase and Jenna have probably formed their own little clique that they decided that they're above everybody else. Colleen, I can take because she works every now and then but the other three, I haven't seen them lift their arm unless they're stretching after they slept or they're stuffing their faces with food. Its ridiculous.
Colleen (confessional):Right now, I am having the most fun with Dirk, Gervase and Jenna. There's no doubt in my mind that those three are the three people I could trust the most in the game and I don't really care about the other four. <laughs> As long as I'm having fun, I'm good to go.
[Colleen is shown making a joke again as the screen fades to black]
Pagong Tribe [ The rest of the tribe are lounging around the fire as Rudy is shown hauling firewood from afar ]
Sonja: He's going to be like this, huh? <looks out to Rudy> I mean, the guy's pretty much asking to be voted out.
Ramona: I wouldn't blame him. I mean, he lost his only ally in the game.
Kelly: He's just being stupid. I mean, we still need to work together as a tribe, you know and him being out there, like, not wanting to be around us, that's just stupid.
Ramona: Let's just give him some time, maybe he'll turn around.
Kelly: He better.
Kelly (confessional): Its now day four and right now, there's tension between Rudy and the rest of the tribe. He's being a very immature little brat and its getting on my last nerve. I'm sure he's a nice guy outside of the game but as far as he's concerned, he's out of here. I can't stand him.
[ Cuts to Rudy and Ramona walking ]
Ramona: All I'm saying is that if you want to stay in the game, you should at least be more sociable.
Rudy: I know, I know. But I can't face the fact that those guys out there, I know they're talking about me. I know that they're saying smack about me.
Ramona: If you could at least show them that you're trying to fit in.
Rudy: <laughs> Yeah, that would happen. Sonja hates my guts right now, right? And as far as the tribe is concerned she's calling the shots right now.
Ramona: Sonja? No, no. You have that mistaken there.
Rudy: Then who does? I'm not seeing the other guys as the leader type. Maybe except Sean.
Ramona: There you go. Get on Sean's good graces then maybe you have a shot in the game. You would like to stay right?
Rudy: Of course I do.
Ramona (confessional): I'm pretty much trying to stick up to Rudy as much as I can. The guy's nice and I might just need his vote later down the road but if I'm going to use his vote to keep myself in this game then Rudy has to do something to keep himself in.
Rudy (confessional): Maybe its just me but something about what Ramona said just turns me off. She just sold out Sean as the leader of the tribe, the one calling the shots. Do I use that to my advantage? Maybe, maybe not, I don't know. But as much as I do want to stay in the game, I'm not going to grovel and beg just to stay in. Not a chance.
Day 05
Tagi Tribe [ Droplets of rain water fall from the leaves as the camera shows a very tired looking Survivors doing their business around camp. The camera cuts to Joel sitting by the fire ]
Joel (confessional): Last night was just a killer. We had a really strong thunderstorm and it just lasted all throughout the night. We were pretty much all soaked five minutes into the storm and waking up, wait, I didn't even get to sleep because I was wet, cold, miserable, it was just horrible.
Greg: <looking around> Everything's wet. The wood's wet, the ground's all muddy, I don't think we're going to keep a fire up for long.
Dirk: Wow...this pretty much sucks.
Jenna: Well we could try and look at the positive side of things here, you know? Sure, the crazy ass rain drained all of our energy but we can't let it get to us.
Greg: Let's just start by looking for some dry wood. Then a good breakfast would be enough.
Jenna: But, <The other Survivors start dispersing> we need to stay positive y'all! Come on!
Jenna (confessional): I don't understand these people! A little rain never hurt anybody! Everybody's alive, everybody can move, its not like anybody got injured or died. You know what I'm saying? They're all just little prats. This is freaking Survivor! You can't expect not to have rain in Survivor. You come out here knowing that you're bound to face the elements and here it is, everybody's all, 'oh, this sucks' and 'oh, this reeks' and 'oh, I hate it here'. Shut up, stand up and move on!
[ Cuts to Joel who was still inside the shelter ]
Joel: I think I'm going to stay behind. I don't think I have the energy to move.
B.B: You sure you're alright?
Joel: Yeah, yeah. I just need to sleep it off a bit.
B.B: Okay then.
Joel (confessional): It definitely puts a strain on you because you're trying to stay positive, you're trying to get things done but you're body just won't let you. I'm sure that my tribemates are probably dissing me for not doing anything right now but I'm just so miserable, its not fun anymore. Its so not.
[ Cuts to later in the day when Dirk and Gretchen were sleeping in the shelter as the others were working ]
Greg: Are they still sleeping?
B.B: Looks like it. Have you seen them even lift one piece of wood the entire morning?
Greg: <shakes head> Whatever man. I'm done with them.
B.B: Let's just get this thing going on. <looks up> Looks like its going to rain again tonight.
[ Cuts to Gervase and Colleen]
Gervase: Are we going to help?
Colleen: And risk getting all beat up and not perform a hundred percent in the challenge? Please. Plus, looks like they have everything under control. <giggles>
Gervase: <looks outside the shelter and lies back down> Looks like it. Let's declare this day as do nothing day.
Colleen (confessional):There are people in this tribe who have nothing on their minds but work, work, work. Its getting old if you want to work like every single day you're out here. I came out here not to be bossed around and I certainly did not come out here to work harder than I've ever worked outside of the game. <laughs>
Pagong Tribe [ Stacey and Sean were in the water talking when Susan motions for them to join up with her. The pair got out and walked towards the jungle. Sonja and Kelly were watching from afar ]
Sonja: What do you think their talking about?
Kelly: Who cares? <laughs> Just as long as they don't target the two of us just as they said.
Sonja: Do you really think that they will pull through with the plan?
Kelly: Why wouldn't they? Its two more easy votes. Rudy then Ramona. There's no doubt about that.
Sonja: I'm just a bit paranoid, you know? Those three basically hold all the power in the tribe.
Kelly: I don't think Stacey would stick with the two guys. I mean, she would be that stupid to do that. She doesn't stand a chance against those two.
Sonja: So do you think that she would vote with us after Rudy and Ramona go?
Kelly: Oh, I know so. Trust me on this Sonja.
Sonja (confessional): Right now, Kelly's telling me that our alliance with Susan, Sean and Stacey is the best way to go. She's telling me that the five of us would be the last five standing and when the time comes, Stacey will vote with us. I don't see that happening. I don't think Stacey would just jump ship that easily. Something huge has to happen along the road or else we're both screwed.
[ Cuts to Stacey, Sean and Susan in the jungle ]
Sean: So, what's going on?
Susan: Remember when we made the whole deal that Rudy goes at the next council?
Sean: Yeah?
Susan: Well, how about we keep him around and vote out either Kelly or Sonja instead.
Sean: <long pause> You serious?
Susan: I totally am. I mean, let's look at things. We've lost Richard, we lost one strength there. If we vote out Rudy, our tribe's basically screwed when something physical comes along.
Sean: You have a point.
Susan: And I know we made a promise to Sonja and Kelly but we want to win, right? We want to have the majority when the merger comes along.
Sean: I'll think about it.
Stacey (confessional): What Susan did basically set me off a little bit. I don't trust Rudy one bit. I trust Sonja and Kelly more. And in a game where trust is the most important, I don't think I trust Susan that much as I did before she said her spill. Something doesn't add right here and if I'm going to win this game, I have to keep a close watch on Susan for sure.
Susan (confessional):I made my plea with Sean and Stacey and I hope it works. <laughs> I'm not expecting anything but if it does, then great. If it doesn't, I'll deal with it. But what I need right now is Rudy's vote and I'm all set. I don't even have to get my hands too dirty for this. <laughs>
Immunity Challenge
Day 05
[ Jeff Probst was standing in front of a long table with a fish bowl at its head. He looks to his right as the Tagi tribe enters ]
Jeff Probst: <shouts> Come on in guys!
[ The Tagi tribe enters as they each take a seat on the cushions on the right side of the table. Pagong enters a few seconds later after the last person from Tagi has sat down ]
Jeff Probst: Tagi, getting your first look at the new Pagong tribe. Richard, voted out at the last Tribal Council.
[ The Pagong tribe sat down one at a time on the left side of the table as Sean was shown nodding his head ]
Jeff Probst: Okay. For today's challenge, we thought to give you guys a taste of the local cuisine. <Removes the cloth covering the fish bowl and reveals worms crawling in it> These are butok. Its a local delicacy here in Borneo and the locals eat it alive.
Colleen: <whispers> No way. That is disgusting.
Jeff Probst: Here's how the challenge will work. Each of you will eat one butok. If one of you cannot do it, immunity immediately goes to the other tribe. Sounds good?
[ Several Survivors are shown laughing as Colleen looks like she's about to get sick ]
Jeff Probst: Okay. First up, Sean and Greg. <Jeff reaches into the bowl and puts a butok each on their plate> You will remove the head first before eating the rest of it. Once you're done, show me an empty mouth and I'll clear you. Ready? Three, two, one, eat.
[ Both Survivors quickly bit off the heads before throwing the butok into their mouths. Sean quickly swallowed his and was cleared by Jeff as Greg took his time before showing an empty mouth ]
Jeff Probst: Both good. Next up, Rudy and Gervase.
Greg: It doesn't even have any taste. Its just chewy.
Jeff Probst: Ready? Three, two, one, eat.
[ Gervase bites the head off while Rudy opted to use his hands squeezing some of the butok's juices out ]
Rudy: Aw, f*ck, that's nasty.
[ Gervase quickly finishes his butok as Rudy chews harder and shows an empty mouth to Jeff ]
Jeff Probst: Both are good. Next two, Ramona and B.B. <Both lifted their bowls and toasted> Survivors ready? Three, two, one, eat.
[ Both Survivors quickly bit off the head and swallowed their butoks easily ]
Jeff Probst: You're good <looks over to James>, you're good. Both tribes still good. Next up, Sonja and Joel.
Sonja: We have to eat the entire thing?
Jeff Probst: Minus the head.
Kelly: You can do this Sonja! Come on!
Jeff Probst: Ready guys? <Both Joel and Sonja nodded> Three, two, one, eat.
[ Joel tore his butok quickly and showed an empty mouth to Jeff ]
Jeff Probst: Just like that, Joel's good. Got to put that thing in there Sonja.
Sean: Just put it in your mouth Sonja then swallow.
Sonja: The whole thing!?
[ Apprehensively, Sonja touched the butok and quickly tore off its head. Dropping the body down, Sonja pinched her nose as she put the butok in her mouth and chewed ]
Dirk: <making vomit noises>
Kelly: Shut it punk.
[ Sonja was trying to hold it down as she tilted her head upwards and tried to swallow ]
Jeff Probst: I'm going to count you down now Sonja. Swallow it or your tribe loses. Five, four, three,
[ Sonja swallows and shows her mouth to Jeff ]
Jeff Probst: And with that, Sonja's good. We're moving on!
Sonja: Oh thank you Jesus!
Jeff Probst: Next up, Stacey and Kelly.
[ Both women smiled at each other politely and quickly ate up the butok ]
Jeff Probst: You're both good. <Jeff nods as the two women cheered> Next up, Gretchen and Susan.
Susan: Can I just say that this is nothing compared to what I've eaten back home.
Jeff Probst: So you had grubs?
Susan: Grubs, rats, insects, grasshoppers and those little flying things. I had it all.
Jeff Probst: Then this would be a cake for you. Three, two, one, eat.
[ Gretchen tore off the head of her butok and started eating. Susan forgot to take the head off hers and she quickly spat it out ]
Susan: That son of a b*tch! Crazy ass grub tried to bite me!
Jeff Probst: You're supposed to take the head off. <Looks at Gretchen's empty mouth> Gretchen's good. Put it in there Susan.
[ Susan shook her head and after pulling the head off, quickly chewed the butok and swallowed ]
Jeff Probst: You're good.
Susan: Oh praise beejesus.
Jeff Probst: Kelly and Colleen. You two are up. Ready? Three, two, one, eat.
[ Kelly quickly takes the butok into her mouth and chewed. Colleen was already in tears as she couldn't even touch hers ]
Greg: Come on Colleen.
Colleen: I can't! I can't even touch the freaking thing!
Jenna: Just think of it as something else.
Colleen: Like what?
Jenna: I don't know! Something! Think of anything except that!
[ Kelly shows an empty mouth to Jeff ]
Jeff Probst: Kelly's good. I have to start counting you down Colleen.
Colleen: <crying> I can't! I'm sorry guys.
Jeff Probst: Five,
Susan: You better swallow girl or else we'll lose that doggarn immunity!
Jeff Probst: Four, <Colleen is shaking her head as she screamed when she tried touching the butok> three, two, one, done. And with that, Pagong wins Immunity!
[ The members of Pagong cheered as Colleen covered her face with her hands as Jenna quickly hugged her. Dirk threw his bowl on the table hard as Jeff handed the immunity idol to Pagong ]
Jeff Probst: Congratulations Pagong. Tagi, you guys have a date with me tomorrow night. Somebody from your tribe will be voted out. You have a day to think about it.
Day 06
Tagi Tribe Gervase (confessional):We lost the immunity challenge yesterday which pretty much sucks. And what sucks even more is that the person who's responsible for us losing is Colleen. I love Colleen. I love her to death and I just don't think I find the heart in me to vote her out just because she couldn't eat the grub. No way.
[ Cuts to Gervase, Jenna and Greg walking ]
Gervase: So here's the thing. If the four of us stick together for tonight's vote, we have a shot in this.
Jenna: I totally agree. We just have to. I mean, we can't let the other four have the upper hand.
Gervase: Now we got that settled, who are we voting for?
Jenna: Joel. I thought that was already decided a long time ago? All we need to do is get at least one of the other three to vote with us and we're set in stone.
Gervase (confessional): So right now we're all trying to keep a level head in this game so that we could gain the majority in the tribe. We can't fall apart over something because if we do, we're going to lose it.
Gervase: We just need one more vote.
[ Cuts to Joel and Colleen talking by the fire ]
Joel: Are you guys going to vote for me?
Colleen: I don't know.
Joel: I mean, I know you guys will. You all have it written all over your faces. We're not exactly in good terms right?
Colleen: I don't really know Joel.
Joel: Look, all I'm asking is you guys would give me a chance to prove myself to you.
Colleen: Listen. I don't like you. <Joel smirks> I really don't. And for whatever reason there is, I can't wait to vote you out. But if you think for one second I'm going to consider anything you have to say, then stop.
Joel: <shrugs> I'm just saying.
Colleen (confessional): We're going to Tribal Council, something I don't think I could possibly even get enough strength out of me to do. Its a huge deal for the first vote and I certainly don't want to be the first person voted out of my tribe. But if I have to go through another day with Joel around, I would just lose it. I really will.
[ Cuts to Jenna and Greg as they fill up their water jugs ]
Jenna: So, have you heard how the vote's going?
Greg: I don't really want to talk about it. But since you've brought up the subject,
Jenna: <laughs> I just want to know if we're all on the same page.
Greg: Okay. Its either Gervase or Colleen.
Jenna: Are you serious?
Greg: I am. And I am telling you right now, B.B, Joel and Gretchen are all voting the same way.
Jenna: No way. Colleen, I understand but why Gervase?
Greg: Look at the guy. I love hanging out with him but he doesn't really bring anything to the table. I'm just saying that,
Jenna: <interrupts> Compared to Joel who's basically crying to vote her out, you want to get rid of Gervase?
Greg: Here's how I see it. Joel's an easy vote. She'll be loyal to us and if we lose another challenge, we vote her out. Plain and simple.
Jenna: I don't know Greg.
Greg: Just, think about it.
Jenna (confessional): Right now, it looks like there are three choices as to who will get voted out. Gervase, Colleen and Joel. I was all set in voting for Joel tonight but if it results to a tie and we have to do, God knows what, I'm not going to risk it. <shakes head> I'm just so confused right now, my head is spinning.
[ Cuts to the tribe preparing for Tribal Council ]
Gervase (confessional): I'm really, really, really, really nervous right now. I don't want to be but there's something on the back of my mind saying, you're in deep sh*t here Ger and you're going to get voted out. <laughs> But I trust the group that I have and I know that our plan would work out.
[ A shot of Jenna hugging Gervase ]
Gervase: Are you ready?
Jenna: You bet I am.
Jenna (confessional): There's a lot at stake going into this Tribal Council. Do I risk it being a tie and have a one in eight chances of being the person to get voted out or do I risk the friendship I have with these people and vote out one of my best friends. I really haven't made up my mind just yet and I think I would once I uncap that pen at tribal and write somebody's name down.
Tribal Council
Night 06
[/center][/b]
<Eight people are walking in Tribal Council as Jeff Probst was standing on the opposite side of the bonfire. The eight Survivors each took one of the eight seats available>
Jeff Probst: Behind each of you is a torch. I want you to grab a torch and approach the flame.
<Each Survivor did as instructed>
Jeff Probst: We are doing a ritual here in Tribal Council as fire represents your life. Once your fire is out, so are you. <Everybody lights up their torches and takes a seat with Jeff taking his afterwards> Let's go back to the very start of the game. Colleen. How was your landing on Tagi beach?
Colleen:It was pretty much normal. <laughs> We hugged each other, we started talking and then five minutes later, I think it was Dirk who initiated that we need shelter and water and fire.
Jeff Probst: So you guys got to work immediately?
Colleen: Definitely. And I think we did a pretty banging job in getting things done immediately and I think that's a main reason why we did so well in the first challenge.
Jeff Probst: Dirk. Colleen just said that you got the tribe together. Do you think that makes you some sort of the leader of this tribe?
Dirk: From my point of view Jeff is that if nobody does it then nothing will get done. We were all chit-chatting and getting to know each other but I know that we could do that and do some stuff around camp as well.
Jeff Probst: So you can safely say that you are the leader of this tribe?
Dirk: No, I don't think that way. I'm just one person who got things rolling. These people have a mind of their own and I can't control what they think. No sir. That would be the death of me in this game. <laughs>
Jeff Probst: Getting back from the challenge yesterday, Mercedes, what was the initial moodset of the tribe?
Jenna: We were pretty much bummed all through the night that's for sure. <laughs> But we got up this morning, our loss behind us and we move on. <Gervase is shown nodding> We can't wallow in the past forever.
Jeff Probst: Gervase, you are nodding your head there like there's no tomorrow.
Gervase: Well, yeah. I mean, we have Tribal Council and if we keep on mourning on our loss then we would forget that we actually have to vote out somebody.
Jeff Probst: Do you think that this vote will be hard?
Gervase: Maybe for some people, yeah. But I have my mind made up already by mid-afternoon today. <Jenna looks anxious> And I don't think I would change my mind anytime soon.
Jeff Probst: Looks like you don't feel vulnerable one bit.
Gervase:<laughs> Of course I feel vulnerable Jeff! I would be stupid not to feel that way because this is a game wherein people lie. And who knows maybe I've been lied to the entire day. We'll see.
Jeff Probst: <nods> It is time to vote.Colleen, you're up.
[Colleen stands up and heads over to the voting podium. She quickly writes down a name and shows it as a vote for Joel ]
Colleen: Like I said, I can't wait to vote you out of this game. See you on the flipside.
[Susan votes next as she writes down a name as the camera fades to show Greg holding up his vote ]
Greg: It doesn't makes sense right now but in the looking at it in the long run, it makes a whole lot of sense. <Colleen is shown then Gervase and then Joel> Sorry to see you go, we'll all miss you.
[ Dirk is shown next walking down to the voting podium as the camera cuts to Joel writing down a name on the piece of parchment. Gretchen is shown next as she places her vote inside the urn as the camera cuts to Gervase holding up a vote for 'Joel' ]
Gervase: I'm sure you're a nice guy but I'm just not clicking with you that well in the game. <Joel is shown looking nervous> And if this helps, I tried saving you. I really did.
[Jenna is shown last as she hesitates for a moment before finally writing down a name ]
Jenna: I really wish this wouldn't be the case 'cause I hate to vote out anybody from this tribe. Sorry.
[Jenna places her vote inside the urn as she walks back to her seat ]
Jeff Probst: I'll go tally the votes.
<Jeff leaves to get the urn as the tribe is shown. Gervase is shown followed by Joel. The camera pans over to Jenna looking down as it cuts to Jeff Probst as he places down the urn on the pedestal>
Jeff Probst: Once the votes are read, the decision is final. Person voted out will be asked to leave Tribal Council area immediately. I'll read the votes. <He pulls out the first vote> First vote, <flips it over>
Joel.
[ Joel nods his head in agreement ]
Jeff Probst: <pulls the next vote out>
Gervase. [ Gervase looks surprised as he looks at everybody in the tribe ]
Jeff Probst: <pulls out the next vote>
Gervase. [ Gervase was shaking his head. The camera cuts to Joel who was smirking ]
Jeff Probst: Two votes Gervase, one vote Joel. <pulls out the fourth vote>
Joel.[ Joel breathes in deeply as Greg looks over to Jenna ]
Jeff Probst: <pulls out the fifth vote>
Joel.
[ Joel now looks worried as he shakes his head ]
Jeff Probst: Three votes Joel, two votes Gervase. <pulls out the next vote>
Gervase.[ Gervase now looks defeated as he breathes in deeply ]
Jeff Probst:
Gervase. <turns the seventh vote around> Four votes Gervase, three votes Joel, one vote left.
[ Both Gervase and Joel looked in anticipation as Jeff pulled out the final vote ]
Jeff Probst: First person voted out of Tagi and the second person voted out of Survivor <flips over the final vote> Gervase.
[ Colleen and Dirk looks surprised as Jenna was shaking her head ]
Jeff Probst: Gervase, I need you to bring me your torch.
[ Gervase stands up and hugs Colleen before patting Jenna on the shoulder. He grabs his torch and places it in front of Jeff ]
Jeff Probst: Gervase, the tribe has spoken. <He ceremoniously snuffs out Gervase's torch> Its time for you to go.
[ Gervase waves goodbye to his tribe before exiting Tribal Council ]
Jeff Probst: Just when Gervase thought he had this game all figured out, he gets voted out. We'll see how this would play out. You can grab your torches and head back to camp. Good night.
