Welcome to SRGO's Next Idol Episode 1, We dont have our Judge Icemans Critiques unfortunatly.

Now lets get right down to it ans start the show!

First up we have David Archuleta(michael)

This song reflects me because my life is music whether it is playing it or singing it. The Lyrics express me perfect "music in my soul" "its the one thing on my mind" " I just Wanna Play my Music" And whats driving me is following my dreams" "music got control and im never letting go". So basically music is everything to me and it is what is driving me to follow my dreams to be a singer .

Judge Chad: Yes Michael Good job, but we see how you love music in this and how music represents you but this would have been alot better as your inspirational song.

Song 2: This Is Me Ascoutic version, Demi Lovato, 2008 Blues
This is inspirational because i am in the same postition and this is inspirating me to come out and stop being fake and be who i really am and believe in myself and not be afraid. "no more hiding who i wanna be this is me". So this inspires me because it gave me the strength to sing without any fear and the ultimate push to do so with no regrets.

Judge Chad: That sounded like somthing I have Already Heard Michael, its not sounding Original. We see your Inspiration though so keep it up.

I think this song reflects me because, to me, it's about something myself and a lot of other people have to deal with: The decision of whether you do what you want to do, or whether you do what you have to in life. It sings about how life doesn't always go your way, and it can be pretty rough, but you've gotta deal with it. But it's also saying that if you make the best of it, and really try to go above and beyond your goal, it can happen; and I really believe in and try to live like that myself. After all, like the song say: "Only shooting stars break the mold".

Judge Chad: I dont Completly See how this completly represents you, I see That it shows you go with the flow of life though which Is good. But Most if your song was confusing to me.

Song 2:
"Here Comes the Sun" - by George Harrison/The Beatles
Genre: Folk Rock
Year: 1969

"Here Comes the Sun" inspires me because it's all about how, even though things are bad now, they won't be bad forever. Even when your lonely, cold, and afraid, there's always something good coming on the horizon if you give it time. It's a really positive song, with a comforting message; that everything's going to be alright.

Judge Chad: This song I felt you really tryed hard and you know what... I think you pulled it off. I got the message and it touched me a little, there were really no bad points to it at all, it was very consise.

I chose this song, because I really don't care if people like me or not. I am who I am and I am not going to change for anyone.

Judge Chad: I am very pleased with this Stuff, It is straight forward and easy to tell what you mean. I would have like to see a little more personality in that though.

I chose this song, because my mom is my inspiration. I think that says it all.

Judge Chad: I dont think that does say it all Stuff, It tells who your insparation is and not why as instructed. But Good Start.

I think this reflects how I am because although Everyone has problems, how I get comfort is I ask Jesus to help me through my everyday problems. I am a religious person but not over the top. I think that It reflects my personality because I ask for help from someone who is always there for me and like the song says and is titled “Cry out to Jesus” I ask him for help. This song reflects my point of view on things and how I live my life.

Judge Chad: This is representive of your religion and that you are religious, thats what I got from it. Mayeb shorten it a little next time? That was realy well put, great job on this song.

Song 2: Shine like the stars

Genre- Christian Rock
Year- 2008


This song inspires me because it tells how you can do anything you put your mind to. It says “Shine like the stars” which tells you that whatever you put your mind to you can achieve. Even if other people don’t help you or you feel you cannot do what you want to do you can always do it. There will be struggles but you can shine and accomplish your goals, with whatever they may be.

Judge Chad: The was really really good Chris, I really could tell that this song inspres you to push past the bad times, Great job.

I chose my first song because i LOVE to swim,and he talks about swimming,and about the kinds and yeah!i just love to swim,nd i swim EVERY summer!

Song 2: Brush your teeth by:Raffi

I chose my second song because they talk about brushing your teeth,and when i listen to that song it i feel inspired to brush your teeth!and also its good for your hygene,so you wouldnt not want to brush your teeth!yeah its a good song!

Song 1: I have selected the 2003 song "I Don't Want to Be" by Gavin Degraw for the song that describes me. It is an alternative song.

I want to be myself, I don't want to be anything otherwise! Even if you are are surrounded by people that cover themselves up with masks and fake their personality, hobbies, frienships, and everything else, you need to stay true to yourself and be yourself, no matter the burden.

Judge Chad: Brilliant! I really get this, and I feel like I get you now, that was tremendous.

Song 2: "I Believe" is a phenominal R&B song by Fantasia that was first performed in the year of 2004.

Syesha Mercado performed it in the final eight of the most recent American Idol season also. "I Believe" is the most often played song on my iTunes with over 200 times that I have listened to it. The song comforts the listener and shows "hey, everything is going to be alright. Don't give up". It represents the fact that any one person can do anything if they put their mind to it. The song gets me choked up because of its deep, deep meaning. It inspires me to never give up and even in the hardest of situations, keep fighting and reach that silver lining. Everybody has a bright future ahead of them, and nobody should ever forget that anything is possible when you believe.

Judge Chad: That was a bit too long for me that it almost ocnfised me, but after a while i found it probably is a goo dinsparational song and it tells me a bit about you, but I usually wouldnt stop to read all of that in my usual day.

I chose this song as I feel it reflects how I am feeling at the moment. As teenagers, we go through moments where we are not sure of our own identity. We want to be ourselves, and yet we have to live up to the expectations of the people around us.

Judge Chad: WOW! That was short, yet so revealing about you as a person, good show, good show.

Song 2: Angels, by All Angels, 2006, Pop

I love this song because I think the lyrics are meaningful, they remind me that there is a god out there who is always there for me and will always be there, the melody of the song is also soothing to my ears.

Judge Chad: I cant really comment that, it wasnt really bad nor great, it was just ok for me.

This song inspires me to party like a rockstar. You gotta get out there and enjoy life and the best way to do that is party like a rockstar. I've had a lot of good night with this song.
