Welcome back to episode THREE of SRGO's Next Idol.
First up we have Carrie Underwood
hate that i love you by Rihanna ft. ne-yo the genre is pop and the year is 2007/2008
Judge Chad: I dont think this hits the lightning category you said you were going for, but it is a good choice for you. You get +2 Fan base this week
Next Up is Stuff
My song this week is one that I had never heard before it is Lightning Crashes by Live off their album Throwing Copper. The song talks about lightning striking and is analogy of the cirlce of like. I've heard that the music sounds like lightning striking. (my speakers don't work and I don't have any headphones right now so I hope this is a great song)
Judge Chad: AMAZING, That really fit Lightning, this was a very cool song, it had the emotions of a lightning storm so I congradualate you on making it to next week.
Next up we have Chris Brown
Artist:Vanessa Carlton Title:paradise Year:2008 Genre:pop
This song represents Earth because its talking about how earth can be paradise but only if we want it to. It can be a huge mess if we dont take care of our earth.
Judge Chad: I liked your choice, I liked the song, but I dont completly see earth here I see a group of hippies :\
Next Up is David Archuleta
the sound of music 1965, soundtrack
this song represents earth by saying for example the hils are alive and that even the earth is alive not just the peopel on it. that music is built by everyone and anyone. thsi song talks about so much about nature with mentioning animals and lakes and rivers and wind.
Judge Chad: I listened to this, and I felt it was really just ok, it sorta represented earth, but not well enough for me. You really need to get some upbeat songs next week.
Next Up is Elizabeth
Colors of the Wind Artist: Vanessa Williams Year: 1995 Genre: Pop/ R & B
Judge Chad: WOW, This song was so Airy and nice, but it was almost boring. The song did really represent air and have good vocals so You will get an extra fan base of 1.
Next Up we have Rigel
"I Believe I can Fly" - by R. Kelly Genre: R&B Year: 1996 Category: Wind
I think this song represents Wind because it's all about believing in yourself to fly higher, and soaring high enough touch the sky. The lyrics symbolize someone rising through the air, the wind, and the sky; and the music of the song rises from a down-beat tone to a more up-beat one as it goes along to reflect that. That aside, the song has a light and airy sound that I think fits with the Wind theme really well.
Judge Chad: I think That song really fits you, I fell it has good vocals and that YOU NAILED WIND! plus 1 fan base for you Rigel. This was your best week to date.
Leona is on vacation and Taylor and Eminem forgot, so will they make it to next week? Thanks for watching, you have one whole day to vote, you get three choices in the poll!
